Story
Who knew a Spring Break fling would turn into this?
It all started in Seaside, Florida in 2013. After being introduced by mutual friends on their senior year Spring Break, John and Dani stayed close throughout the rest of their last year of high school, going to Prom together, and many Rangers games.
In the Fall, Dani went off to OU (Boomer!) and John to Notre Dame. The two stayed close friends and saw each other when they were both back home in Dallas. This arrangement went on for two years before Dani asked John to be her boyfriend.
The pair dated long distance for the remainder of college. After graduation, John and Dani both moved back to Dallas and eventually lived in the same apartment building two floors apart. In March 2020, the couple moved into their first apartment together during shelter-in-place.
In September 2022, John completely surprised Dani and asked her to marry him while on a morning walk at Klyde Warren Park.
After 8 years of dating, Dani and John will tie the knot on May 18, 2024.
